The Gospel

God desires to have a relationship with you today but, the choice is yours. The one thing that separates us from God is our sin. Jesus came and gave His life that we might come into a love relationship with God through Him. The Gospel shows us this is God’s only redemptive plan. Take a moment to look at a Gospel tool I have used throughout the world to lead thousands to Jesus Christ.

KNOT – Birth

YELLOW – God loves us and desires a relationship with us.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

BLACK – Sin is what separates us from God.  We choose to disobey God.

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23

RED – Jesus died on the cross and rose from the grave, paying the price and penalty for our sin.  He provided the only way to God.

“But God demonstrates His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”  Roman 5:8

KNOT – This knot stands for a decision we must make, to accept Him or not

“. . . if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your

heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9

WHITE – When we become a Christian God cleanses us from all unrighteousness and washes us whiter than snow

“But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin.”   I Jn 3:5 “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow.” Isa 1:18 NKJ

BLUE– One of our first acts of obedience is to publicly confess our faith through baptism.

“So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and there were added that day about three thousand souls.” Acts 2:41

GREEN – We must now grow as a believer in all areas of our life.  Looking at Jesus as our example.

“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forev

er. Amen.” 2 Pet 3:18

KNOT – Death no longer brings fear because as a Christian we have an eternal home with God in heaven.

“He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.  These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.”  1 John 5:12-13, NKJ

Do you know how to make this life changing decision?

Read the following prayer and if it expresses the desire of your heart repeat it to God.

Dear God, I know that I have sinned and my sin separates me from You. I do believe Jesus died on the cross for me and rose from the dead so my sin can be forgiven. God, please forgive me.  I ask Jesus to come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior.  I will obey You and live for You the rest of my life. Thank You for the gift of eternal life.  Thank You for loving me. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

It is important to understand that just repeating these words will never save you unless you mean it from the heart. Unless you repent of your sins and truly place your total faith in Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior your prayers will have no affect.
